    The Journal of Contemporary Literature Review and Analysis (JCLRA) is an international, open-access journal based in Malaysia that publishes exclusively literature review articles. JCLRA serves as a platform for scholars, researchers, and practitioners to synthesize existing knowledge, identify research gaps, and critically analyze emerging trends across various disciplines.

    Unlike most academic journals that focus mainly on empirical studies, JCLRA specializes in systematic reviews, scoping reviews, bibliometric analyses, and critical narrative reviews. The journal’s mission is to strengthen theoretical foundations, support evidence-based practice, and promote intellectual discourse through comprehensive review research.


    Focus and Scope

    JCLRA welcomes original review papers that address contemporary issues and developments in the following areas:

    • Educational Technology and Digital Learning

    • Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Human–Technology Interaction

    • Mental Health, Counseling, and Social Well-being

    • Applied Humanities and Policy Studies

    • Innovation, Sustainability, and Future Studies

    Types of accepted manuscripts include:

    1. Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using PRISMA or similar methodologies.

    2. Scoping Review focusing on mapping research trends or conceptual frameworks.

    3. Bibliometric / Scientometric Analysis using software such as VOSviewer, RStudio, or Biblioshiny.

    4. Critical or Narrative Review that provides in-depth theoretical and conceptual insights.

    All manuscripts must demonstrate methodological rigor, clear contribution to knowledge, and relevance to current scholarly conversations.
